Overview

We’re seeking a Conversion Optimization Specialist who is passionate about improving website conversion rates and increasing ecommerce revenue. Candidates should have online testing experience (A/B & MVT) and a history of using digital analytics to develop a strategic testing roadmap focused on revenue generation.

Responsibilities:

  • Key participant in identifying optimization opportunities and leading the test ideation process for assigned clients
  • Facilitate end-to-end conversion test launch and targeting process: test/targeting outline, creative design, code development, QA, launch, analysis, findings deliverable, and results communication
  • Establish, document, and maintain an evolving conversion optimization strategy that focuses on revenue generation
  • Own assessment of experiment potential based on business objective, observation, hypothesis, and default/control performance
  • Maintain test calendar and test result repository
  • Report on the progress of conversion optimization on a monthly and quarterly basis through the delivery of key performance indicator reports and conversion test logs
  • Stay abreast on best practices and latest trends in digital analytics and conversion rate optimization tactics

Qualifications:

  • 3+ years in a conversion optimization role that includes ecommerce experience
  • Direct experience with Google Analytics and Optimizely (or comparable platforms)
  • Proven experience in using data to identify optimization opportunities to improve website performance and KPIs
  • A data detective with the initiative and ability to go beyond surface details to produce actionable insight
  • Highly analytical and experienced in running A/B and multivariate tests
  • Strong organization and project management skills
  • Results driven, experienced individual that can reliably meet goals & deadlines
  • Affinity for solving complex challenges and breaking down large projects into achievable milestones
  • Highly motivated, resourceful problem solver with the ability to lead and interact effectively with cross-functional teams
  • Proficiency in user experience best practices and copywriting preferred
  • Experience with tools similar to Mouseflow, Qualaroo, Userlytics, UsabilityHub a plus
