  • Overview

    As a Sales Coach, you will be a consistent leader who is accountable for training and mentoring our inbound sales teams, as well as setting and exceeding sales goals on a consistent basis. You'll be directly responsible for motivating agents to improve daily.

     

    RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Manage a team of call center sales agents.
    • Constantly evaluating and improving sales strategies to excel performance.
    • Be available to affect the entirety of the team’s operations.
    • Take calls and make outbound calls to lead by example and set the tone for call center agents.
    • Monitor queue and track inbound calls. Keep agents aware of inbound calls, calls waiting, abandonment rate, etc.
    • Motivate and encourage agents through positive communication and feedback.
    • Meet at least once each day with your team. At a minimum, review the following topics:
      • Review the previous day’s events, including statistics, results and industry news.
      • Ensure effective pipeline management and leads are being exhausted
      • Discuss a sales theme or point-of-interest topic for the agents.
      • Present commendations and awards.
      • Communicate company information and initiatives.
      • Answer questions and comments.
      • Review and game plan goals and accomplishments.
    • Perform at least one monitoring evaluations with each agent every week.
    • Use a formal monitoring checklist.
    • Keep track of attendance, daily statistics, daily goals, etc.
    • Present to Sales Management at the end of each week a breakdown of the next week’s monitoring assignments and a plan for the team and the past week’s monitoring checklists and written performance summary of the team.
    • Create a forecast describing the things each agent will be focused upon.
    • Create a detailed plan of the way in which you plan to impact your team’s day-by-day performance.
    • Recruit and train new staff and schedule existing staff to meet service level objectives.

    QUALIFICATIONS:

    • Must have at least 1 year of sales experience.
    • Prep to coach is prefered.
    • Adapt quickly and easily to changing requirements and needs from internal and external customers.
    • Ability to coach and motivate good performance from frontline sales agents.
    • Ability to prioritize work to meet tight deadlines.
    • Must have at least 90 days in your current role to apply.
    • Must not be on any final write ups in the past 90 days for conduct or attendance. 
    • Must have basic Excel and Word knowledge.
    • Must be in the top 25% for RPC.
